Ownership Guide
Timber is a living material — it breathes, responds to humidity and develops character over time. With the right care, your Plummo's piece will outlast you.
Step by Step
By Product Type
CA-finished pens are highly durable — wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid leaving in direct sun in a hot car as heat can affect acrylic blanks. Re-polish with Brasso if the finish dulls.
Hand wash only — never dishwasher. Dry immediately after washing. Oil with food-safe mineral oil monthly if used frequently. Stand upright to dry, never flat on a wet surface.
Rinse muddlers immediately after use — citrus juices are acidic and will dull the finish over time. Dry promptly. Treat timber bottle stoppers with a light oil annually.
Resin pieces are very low maintenance. Wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid sharp impacts on resin edges. Keep out of prolonged UV exposure as it can yellow clear resin over time.
Use coasters and placemats. Wipe spills immediately. Polish with furniture wax twice a year. For oil-finished tables, re-apply Danish or linseed oil seasonally to keep the grain fed.
PLA and PETG tools — keep away from direct heat (hot cars, sunlight). Wipe clean after use. Replace if you notice cracking or deformation that could affect accuracy.
